New master, any good?

Just finishing up the mastering on my EP and ive been going back and forth between too loud and too quiet. Im not very tolerant of any clipping or pumping so this ones going to be lighter than the usual commercial stuff coming out these days.

Is this too quiet though?

Absolutely cool for me, dude. It sounded very good! (I love this song) If you ask me, I would always prefer clarity to loudness. Your mix/mastering has both of em and additional to that, it sounds pretty powerful. I can say WIN, but maybe some more experienced mastering engineer think different about it.

I know you may not be interested in mixing problems now but I heard your music better and you have the bass and the kick are fighting for the low end, the kick is boomy and it lacks definition

Hmm that ones thing I took time on and think they fit pretty well. I can hear the kick clearly aswell! Different stokes I guess

I also hear the kick but in a muffled way. Well could be my monitors But if you dont hear nothing wrong, so this is ready to kick ass. Btw, really nice guitar arpeggio

Yeah well these days I have learnt to accept there is no way you can get the perfect mix for every setup/room etc so just do what sounds good and hope for the best! lol

It´s true. If we become obsessed with the things, we never finish anything. Sometimes we just have to let it go. We just have to think that we will do better for the next time. Yeah dude the guitar work seems very good. Digging the riffs and the solos.
