NEW Mesa Trad Impulses!!!

I bet that would sound good but it's not the idea of "Fredman technique" at all. The idea is to record the same performance with two mics and adjust them to taste. So, I think MrLee is doing it right.

Yes, I think you're right...

Maybe is just a metter of volumes for MrLee... don't know.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure if the fred. technique was to record the two mics at the same time or just double tracking.

Cheers!

Will it work to duplicate a track and add one dead center impulse on one and the fredman one the another?
I have tried, but didnt notice much of a difference.. did I do something wrong?

I think the big question here is : would all those sounds be in phase ?

Does the very same track going throught 2 different impulses will give in phase results...

Any clue GuitarHack ?
I have not the possibility to check it actually.

Yes! Phase cancellations occur because mics are on different distances from the sound source. An impulse does not capture the delay of the sound, only the frequency response and reverb.
