New misheard lyric

Ghost of Martyr
Lingering deaaad
Ghost on martyr's bed

Fat scrat tore the pillor
Contortable hell
twisted face upon the hand
ghost of perdition stalking her chance
a warning no-one read
The dick friendship go inside the fog
going venom to the sea-bear

devil crack the earthly shell for told she was the one
open to the room and said you have to live before you die young

Holding it down
channeling darkness
i got before the cause
failing resistance
draining the weakness
penetrating in a line

rode into the dark unaware winding ever higher

darkness by her side
spoke and passed her by
dedicated hunter
waits to pull asunder
rose up to its call
in his sons she falls
mmother lifes the seed
a faithful servents fee

ok im bored stfu.

and just for future reference, its "deadly badgers made my wreath"

and the funniest by far is from deliverance,

"received no water
thought nothing to a lifeguard"

I can understand where you guys get "leave the pee, it was meant for me" in a fair judgement. I heard that, and I hear that now whenever I hear the song, and I get angry because you guys totally fukked up the feel of the song with your nonsense, heh.

In The Amen Corner I always hear "memories tainted with paleness" as "memories tainted with phallus".

Another funny one that's not mine, in Benighted "what came and distorted your sight" misheard as "a caveman distorted your sight".

Whenever I hear The line "They are Unaware" on the 'The Baying of the Hounds', It sounds very much like "Their Underwear"....ahh...Always gives me a chuckle

their underwear, in a loop, inside their pants.

I can't remember any misinterpreted Opeth lyrics at the moment, but I'll definitely think of them later. On a slightly related note, for a while, in Bloodbath's "Ways to the Grave", I swear Mikael said "strawberries" somewhere in there.

I know it's not metal, but on "Hero" by Nickleback he seems to sing "I am so high I can hear a bird".
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen "Beezebub has the devil for a sideboard".
