Alright, I just got back to monitors after being rallied around Christmas shopping by my girlfriend :Smug:.

The Desolation EP sounds a bit weaker than the samplers, the snare wasn't my favorite and the high-end seems a little absent, but it you can add some air by pushing some cymbals and maybe some more presence on bass and guitars (I know there's not a lot of treble in those vocals for you to work with! ). The samplers sounded really awesome and big specially because of the kick/bass relationship but the guitars seem a tad buried. Once again, the samplers could use some top end.

Hope it didn't sound too negative, it's great work!

ps: mind if I ask what you used for bass on the sampler?

haha don't worry i had to do the same yesterday! and no it wasn't negative! But the Deathcore CD is already out on iTunes so no changes for that, but the bass in the sample was the texas grind Direct in which i ran into an eq, pod farm, 1176!
