So I've stared mixing this album (after thousands of hours editing bass and guitars, the guy who tracked them did a terrible job). And I'm not that convinced with the result but mainly because of the guitars, I'm not able to reamp the di's through a real amp myself, so i gave the amp sim a go (legion in this case with s-preshigh impulse) I'm really fighting with the guitar tone. Cause when I'm trying do eq out some of the frequencies that bother me i tend getting the guitar WAAAYYYY to thin sounding and harsh, and when i tray to undo this i get it to "boxy". this is kinda a in-between sound but still not satisfied. please give some pointers. or suggest me who could help me with a reamp ( don't have that much of a budged by the way)
