So, turns out that, just like Threshold, Muse is releasing a new album this year. The first song is out, what do you think?



At first I really liked it, but now I'm starting to dislike it a lot; for me it feels quite forced and they seem to be in a OST kind of thing (to my ears).

I'd love a 'Map of the Problematique' cover .

I love it but then I'm a die hard Muser and it's very difficult for them to do anything I don't like

Don't get me wrong, there are a few songs they've released over the years that don't really do it for me but when I heard this I played it lots.

My only complaint is the association with the Olympics, Musers aren't keen on massive commercial promotion as we have a real sense of "ownership" with the band. The whole Twilight fiasco highlighted the problems that come with a huge promotional push.

I'm just very excited about the new album as well as Threshold's offering this year. It's a good year for prog
