Swedish cult metallers NIFELHEIM will release their new album, "Envoy of Lucifer", on November 19 via Regain Records.

NIFELHEIM issued the following statement regarding their feelings on "Envoy of Lucifer": "Well, imagine yourself in a tsunami of piss with nothing to hang on to than the corpse of a mutilated nun and finally reaching the shores of a beautiful beach only to discover it's completely covered by shit, then you hear that they play IRON MAIDEN at the beach bar and the booze is free — that's exactly how it feels."

I interrogated the fellaz at the last Maiden gig here in Schweden and they confessed they were going to start recordings in February, but since then I hadn't heard a word until now... Erik told me it was out and he sent it to me, so no idea where to look really... Metal hubs@DC?

Holy fuck, this album is nuts. On my second listen now, and don't sense an end to the listening coming any time soon.

NWN is going to reissue the first two albums btw. CD versions will go out to press in a few weeks, LP versions wheneverthefuckever, I think Yosuke has been waiting on LP material from the band for literally years by now.

All right, I finally got back in contact with my friend. Here's the rundown of the compilation as I understand it:

- Will be released by Blower Records

- Featuring Eliminator, Death Beast, and a few underground bands (not exactly sure who, I think maybe Twilight Hammer and Crucifist from Canada, maybe some other bands)

- Contribute anything you want, one track, demo, live, cover song, whatever.
