I think the new one is actually a breath of fresh air in their repetoire. It's a departure from their former style, sure, but I think it works to their advantage in this case. The album is by no means better than Goat Horns (of which few albums can top) but this is still quite an impressive release. Reminds me of a mixture of The Fire of Awakening-era Graveland with NeChrist.

The new album is amazing. I have been listening to it pretty much exclusively since I downloaded it (and I'm not a NM fanboy, but I know them pretty well), and I think it may be my favorite album of theirs. I mean, it's epic, it's complex, it has great production and spirit, the interludes are all beautiful...there's just so much going on here. If it turns out not to be my favorite, it's definitely up there and definitely WORTH getting.

I only have Goat Horns. I haven't finished absorbing it, but it's really great work. So I'm not interested in getting anything else by them yet.
