Finland's ENSIFERUM have issued the following update:

"Ensiferum is preparing for their second NorthAmerican tour which will begin at the first day of October of 2008. The headline band of the tour is AMON AMARTH.

Ensiferum might have some additional concerts in the USA after the tour with Amon Amarth. Those will be announced more accurately when they are confirmed."

Yeah there is 8 dates for Canada in the ones listed if that's what you mean.

Within walking distance... the Courtyard Marriot, the Hampton Inn, and the Hilton are about the only things off the top of my head. Unfortunately, the Palladium is pretty much in the middle of Worcester, and all the cheaper places are on the outskirts. I'll take a scout through when I get back home, I'm down in New Jersey again.

As for breweries, there's the Harpoon brewery and the Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams), there's a shitload of smaller microbrew places about, but I haven't been to really any of them. Heh, I've spent so long trying to stay the hell out of Boston that I can't think of much cool to see/do there. I only go there if I have to for work.

That last one, in Springfield, VA is about a 10 min drive from where i used to live (the one at Jaxx). Sounds like I might have to take a trip back home once i get back.
