Anyone here listen to this band?

Just got their new record "birtheater" and it is AMAZING

the only problem is I can't fucking stand the guitars, they are incredibly fizzy sounding like they didn't lowpass them....

You know, their last album sounded better. It had a unique production and some great space and roominess in the drum (samples).

The new album has great material, but the production blows comparatively. The drums sound COMPLETELY fake and the guitars are a wall of fizz and mud.

haha yeah I was incredibly confused when I heard about oceano, cause I heard my friends talking about it as a death metal band and I was like "no they are really light!"

They are seriously like polar opposites in the hardcore spectrum.

And you're right the first album was WAY better production. It had a super unique sound to it. I'd say the writing on this album is better though.
