New passive monitor controller from TC Electronic

I've been wondering myself, since TC puts out great stuff yet the price is very good. However, I had a friend build me a custom controller before the TC was out and it turned out very transparent yet there are some issues with the pot. If we don't make it work well I might order a TC controller if they are nice.

Yeah, the advantage of the SM unit is it has all sorts of frills like a mono switch, two volume pots, two inputs, two outputs, and a powered headphone output - but truthfully, none of that is really worth it to me seeing as how I only plan on having one set of monitors in the forseeable future, and my interface has a headphone out! (and I'm planning on eventually getting a FF400, but that has a headphone out as well)

i have been looking for somethign like, that all i really ned is a volume know closer to my mix position....pretty cheap as well, just need more money now

Awesome. Will check it out right now. My Mpatch 2 has been shitting out gradually over time and I need to replace it with a higher quality unit. The jacks are losing connection, the headphone amp is noisy and above all the pots are noisy!

Wow, that's certainly a check against that gizmo! I thought they were Neutrik connectors, I'm amazed they're starting to get iffy, and I doubt you exactly abuse your stuff Ermin! Good to know...
