well guys i finally got one!!

no post processing, so im guessing im gnna love this amp, very workable raw tones!

naa its a standard 1960A however i got a vintage label for the bottom left and 3 of the speakers in it are now V30s!!

Congrats dude, sounds good. What are you running the gain at? Sounds 5+ to me. Although I do not possess a 6505, i have a 5150 and a 6505+, and they work very well with a maxon od 808, with gain around 3, takes away that wooly fuzzy kinda tone, and the louder you go the more you have to drop the gain, sometimes down to 2! Hope this helps.

cheers for the info dude, the gains currently running at 4, with the SD1 with drive at 8 oclock and level at 12 oclock

Ah! saw that in the pic, didnt know if that was the settings used or not.
I got an sd-1, have tried it out before on all my amps, but to me it just doesnt sound as tight or focused as the maxon, could be cause its old, I dunno, its a jap version, whether that makes a difference or not.

Sounds cool dude, congrats on the purchase! It's a bit thin honestly, and kinda strangely fizzy, or maybe grainy - you really gotta try a TS7! What settings did you use? Good body though, especially on the second clip!
