I have to admit some who mention that A Perfect Circle and tool don't sound alike are possibly mistaken, I have played both to people who notice the similarities. There styles are very similar but obviously other influences do direct them to different areas of music. I like the new album however as it sits along side my Katatonia collection with pride.
