Greetings!
It's been a while since I started working on this song. I continued mixing and decided to start from scratch, this time trying not to use as many plugins and not to use any gclip at all, only depending on eq and comp. Tried a few new tricks (like compressing the hell out of the room track). what do you think?
It's a little bit quiter but in a good way, compared it to the last Symphony x album and it was almost the same rms.

to my ears the guitar could be a bit louder. Maybe you should lower the ride, 'cause it seems to be a bit to "focused".
Overall, cool mix, very suitable for this kind of music which I really like, I think I mentioned before. Sounds like the canadian metalheads called Hanker, check them out!

I've been asked to make a near finished mix for today to publish the song for a contest. and have send this file:

Any help with the mix is welcome, I'm afraid it is to bass heavy or the guitar way to loud. Help I'm kinda stuck. and my pc keeps overloading XD need to upgrade it soon.

I like the song a lot! Not a fan of the lead playing though, such as the background leads and the solo after the acoustic part. Not very precise when it comes to pitch. Regardless, I like the mix. I would probably turn the rhythm guitars down just a tad but that's just me.
