Yes and Painkiller is in my top 5 albums of all time, Jugulator was a step backward, Demolition was vile, and I really do think that AOR is the safe album to make to get some fans back and that the next album will be a bit more daring and heavier.

I picked it up today, listened to it about 4 times, and I like it. Heavier would be nice, but I think it's a good mixture of old "classic" Priest and new Priest. I'm a big fan of their old shit though, never got into "The Ripper" years. Unleashed In The East is a fucking great live album. Hell Bent For Leather, British Steel, Screaming For Vengenance, all great albums. I think people maybe expected too much out of this new one. Give it time, I agree with Void, it'll most likely grow on ya. And Demonizer is a killer tune!!!!!

I think the main problem people have with it is that they are expecting a "Painkiller 2". I was expecting something good, and I got a little bit more than that. The album is pretty good. The first 2 tracks have to be some of Preist's best. But the only song on the entire CD that... OK, I fucking HATE this song with a passion:

WHY THE FUCK DID THEY RECORD "REVOLUTION"?! IT SUCKS ASS!

My god, if anything ruins this album for me, it's this shit for music track! It's like they looked took songwriting lessons from American Idol or something. It sounds like a horrific pop song, where they repeat the chorus a million times so it's stuck in your head, despite any real content in the song whatsoever. Why?! Why did they sink that low?!

At any rate, the overall album, even with that song, still doesn't suffer too much. I give it a B+. I like Angel, as cheesy as the lyrics may be.

I love it! Sure, it's not as heavy as Painkiller, but who ever said it had to be? They've recorded much lighter material than what's on this album. "Last Rose Of Summer" comes to mind. Try not to compare it to other Priest albums, but rather to the so called metal music being released these days, and I think it kills everything out there.

I'm actually glad to hear this b/c it's the only song I've heard and I was quite disappointed myself.

I´m all with you. Revolution does SUCK BALLS but I keep hearing the chorus in my head all the fucking time.
