I've recorded one of my song and this is a sample test:

Guitars: Schecter C1 with emgs.
Amp: Engl Savage 60
Bass: Esp with sansamp
Drums: DFHS with no velocity tweaks (it's just a quick test/soundcheck)
What do you think? I'm not so much happy...for my taste it sound too much dry and I think it miss "space".
My main problem is my "monitor": I have a fucking 2+1 creative and at home my mix sound totally different than other places (my girlfriend stereo, my friends speaker,etc...) so I never know if there is a big amount of bass or there is no bass....it's a pain in the ass!
Now I'm forced to mix near some of my favourite albums and a/b with my songs.....not the better way to mix for sure!
