New Review Of Anthrax 'State Of Euphoria (30th Anniversary Edition'!

Really? to me it was the culmination. A more take no prisoners album. I do feel for Joey, especially on that album. It can't be easy to translate the lyrics Ian wrote for it into catchy vocal melodies.

joey has said a few times that it is very hard to squeeze all those lyrics into the songs, joey never gets enough credit, and for those that critic its always been that way with joey coming in at the end

Yeah if you read those lyrics they are more suited to essays. It must have been very hard to make those words fit into a song. I'm sure he had to change some things and even still it must have been frustrating. And absolutely coming in at the very end can't help things.
But it's still my favorite album by them.
