New Soilent Green

I for one think it's a pretty fucking good follow up. However, I still enjoy A Deleted Symphony For The Beaten Down more.

I've only heard two songs so far but thought it was great. I still enjoy 'A Deleted Symphony.... more so far. A lot of people find that album disapointing but it's as good as 'Sewn Mouth Secrets' imo, not sure why people complain about it.

Pussysoul remains my favorite SG.

Heard the album full two days ago having a better idea now. It's faster, more complex but lacks the catchy and memorable moments from the past fullengths. It basically sums up all the bands works in a more extreme manner. The snare hits are faster adding an extreme factor stepping them up a notch. There is no southern blues based band on earth that fast and intence. The band is not reinventing themselves but have something to offer over most extreme metal bands today. They have an original blending of styles that has been overlooked since day one.

Erik Rutan actually did a nice job on the production. Never cared for any of his production jobs before this album.
