New Soilwork

I got the newie from Soilwork yesterday... it's brilliant in its Soilworkiness. In the same vein as Natural Born Chaos... great melodies, a bit of electronicy sounding stuff, some groove, and in general I think some of the catchiest metal going around. Buy it!

I have Natural Born Chaos and A Predators Portrait, and I dont like either of them, should I stay away from their new one?
(Ive been thinking of getting Chainheart Machine as ive never heard anyone say a bad word about it...)

'Figure Number Five' sucks big time in my opinion. The debut album from Passenger is better (featuring members of In Flames and Gardenian)

I've had the album for quite some time now, and I still hate it. I didn't like the directional change in NBC - and this is still the same.

I found Chainheart Machine and Predators Portrait to be loads better.

Their first two albums both rule. I haven't got any of the others.

New album is great from what I have heard. I shall buy it.

Rejection Role is one catchy song... the verse vocals and the riff fit so well together. A really fat sound. I love it.

And in the soft part Speed sounds like Devin Townsend on a few notes. I guess those vocal lessons from him helped.

Yeah I don't like it as much as the first two and "NBC". Spawny, you'd probably like it as it's not like the others at all.

It's a lot different to their earlier stuff (which also rules!) but I like it - it's got a real 80s new romantic vibe to it in a way with the synths and clean vocals, which I really get into!

But if you don't like that sorta stuff, run fast and far! HAHA!
