Damn, I had NO idea Hacky could do growls as well!


This song kicks ass! Digging the vibe of the mix, might want to make the snare a little brighter/less thud + more crack to have it cut through better and not sound muffled in the back, but otherwise, very nice sounding!

Ah there we go - I think you wen't way overboard with the sub-bass hits during the breakdown, and I'm not digging the the vocals in that part much.

I had the bassdrops very suble first but I thought I could raise them to make'em a bit more obvious, might be you're right and I went too far

guitars have been reamped with oz 5150.

It's not the volume of the bassdrops as much as it is how often they're used - it's supposed to be a subtle thing, so it's that much more crushing and surprising. I'd do it at the beginning of the breakdown and then maybe once again in the middle of it.

Also, I'd try to make the bassdrop hang on a bit more... right now it's like a single hit - slab some verb on it and let the fucker sustain a bit more, kind of seep and crawl under to tickle your insides or something crazy like that.
