This is the latest news I have seen. Take it with a grain of salt.
Victor Entertainment has announced a March 16th street date for the as-yet-untitled eighth album from US prog metallers SYMPHONY X. More details will be announced soon.

Last year there was no title or anything. Now we have a title and even an interview from Russ who said that all that is left to be done is for this album to be mastered. Even the artwork is done. I wish they would release it on itunes immediately after mastering it insted of waiting for all those CD copies to be pressed. I mean let's be honest here, how many CD's do you think are going to be sold? Especially in this economy, don't be shocked to see this on Pirate Bay in a few weeks.

Russ said the first quarter of 2011, that would mean January, Febuary or March.
One quarter of the year being 3 months.. Unless I've been doing it wrong all this time

I think the first US fiscal quarter is already over, so they must have been talking about plain calendar quarters. At least, I hope.
No it only began yesterday. And either way, he said the album wouldn't be out before the tour, which starts after the first calendar quarter anyway, so that's not happening

What you do is copy V onto a blank disc, then take a marker and write "Iconoclast" on it, and tell yourself over and over that it's the new album.
