New Terrorizer Cd

I love the Tangaroa track :) lol just kidding I havn't actually listened to it yet but I have it here so...

*pops in Cd*

just out of interest if people can give up a bit of time, just would be good if there are any of the newer bands out there that people are liking, its meant as a help to the underground ..

plus i am mates with a lot of the bands on there, so am interested to see what people think ..

you dont have to, just an idea :) .. there will be a couple on our forum (raw nerve) doing this, thought it would be interesting, and im gonna try and push for terrorizer to have a page with peoples reviews and thoughts on it ..

not listened to it enough yet to be able to do a track by track thing

i remember REALLY liking the tangaroa, heathen deity and skaldic curse songs. stand up guy and co-exist songs are very good too. bit dissapointed with the vae solis one and the chud song is a bit shit..i'll take another listen tonight.

yeah, vae solis were wicked live when i saw them at dungeonfest, which is what made the recording a bit dissapointing. well i'll listen again tonight after work and do a track bytrack thingy

ok, here's my song by song

thus defiled - of shadow and storm 2.5/5
not the type of song i'd start a CD up with, but not bad, maybe a small bit overlong

descent - burst into flame 3.5/5
better, this'd kick total ass live. raaarggghhh

send more paramedics - zombified 3/5
oooh nice and scuzzy

cry debris - flickering angel 4/5
heaviest song on the cd so far, fucking fast and album and class

million dead - hipster clad 2/5
not my thing

co-exist - bred for violence 4/5
nice and vicious, i like it. they were good live when i saw them too

acolytes ruin - the grimness of necrology 3/5
this is quite good, nothing to make me turn off the stereo but nothing to elevate it to the next level, but some nice riffs

slaughter of souls - 13 3/5
not the total at the gates rip off i was expecting. some nice BM riffs and all, nothing special

spindrift - tedium becomes me 3.5/5
SLUDDGGEEE, quite good, but gets a bit boring at the end

cyrus - red top tabloid 3/5
i think this is the only song on the cd with melodic vocals all the way through, nice double bass drum, good break for the heaviness

tangaroa - cowardice towards a princess 5/5
mad as foooooooook. not quite the total over the top insanity of what has come before but really left a taste in my mouth for more

from the ashes - whisper the coledest words 3.5/5
decent hardcore, i like, although i aint too keen on emma's vocals it doesn't detract in any way

skaldic curse - drowning in emptiness 5/5
i love this, black metal done fucking well

chud - pigstakka 3.5/5
crap name, pretty decent, nice and mad

vae solis - the middle finger of reality 4/5
good old thrash the way we like it. not as blistering as their live show, but hey. what is??

heathen deity - the son of obscurity 4.5/5
i like this, more quality black metal. yay

standup guy - the constant gossip of the workplace 4/5
the opening riff catches me immediatedly, decent song. definitely wanna hear more of this band
