was on the boards over a year ago & there were talks about a new cd in the works. did this ever come out cause every time i go to the music store, i look for a new cd from them but nothing. any info would be great, thanks

During the Montreal show 14 Oct. Chuck Billy said to the audience, that the band was working on a new album.
Sure, they've said this for a long while though. Has been 7 years since a studio album of original material. Long over due. Is startin to annoy me how the only news published on their site is of new merchandise.... fuck t-shirts and bring on the metal.

it´s been 7 long years now ... fuckin´ hell, bring out that new album, "the time is coming .............."
I'm pretty in the loop here, so maybe I can shed some light on this. They've been working on the album off and on for half a decade, and have had plenty of set backs, like health, lineup changes, changes in weather patterns, etc., but it's pretty much a guarantee that the new album will be out by fall of '09.... barring any setbacks of course.
As we all know, Dragonlord is priority two, and Testament will always be Eric's real band.... even if Dragonlord is the only band gettin new material out since Clinton was in office.
Oh yeah, and there's a few new hoodies in the Merch section!!!!!!!!!! That should keep everyone entertained until the next album.

During the Oct 14th concert, there wasn't ANY TESTAMENT merchandise for sale. All the other bands had stuff out though....wasn't interested though in what the other bands had.

when they were here in Las Vegas,there was plenty of merchendise,but all shirts,long sleeve shirts and hoodies were XL.wtf?not all of us are fat.

lol hasnt that album suppose to been out for years. I talked to Skolnick after a TSO show and he said they are working on new stuff, he didnt say any dates or anything
sorry that didnt help much.according to what I read at the Andy Sneap board...looks like they will be recording in March....That would be kick Ass if Andy is at the helm once again..,
I bet the Australia shows are a warm up to get their chops up to speed before they record the new cd....If it is in March..Maybe a June or July release? Testament tour next Summer...Full Blown...w/ Killer New songs..that from what Eric said..sound very old school..Apocalyptic City-ish..(the ones Alex has written)
Also Eric has recorded lots of stuff already in pre production....March might be to just mix it...maybe it will be out sooner than June...???
