I'm curious about your thoughts on the acrylic rich vs. the mahogany hellraiser. (besides both are great and the rich is heavier)
Is it a close toss up or are you still liking the hellraiser the best or do you need more time to compare?

I certainly need more time to compare. Right now, the Hellraiser sounds a bit floppier to my ears... the BC rich has a tighter, more focused sound.

As for the tuning, it's CGCFAD

The tone's pretty cool, but IMO that guitar is one fugly mofo.

This is a guitar for the studio, not the stage. It's just too damn heavy to run around with. That, & I consider "how it sounds" to trump "how it looks" in terms of importance, especially for a studio guitar.
