Hey! This morning I recorded and mix a little clip. I have to say that I was not trying to achieve KSE tone or mix. Its just a soundclip to work my skills, nothing more. This was recorded with same stuff that others, Nick Crow, SoloC, impulses and so on...

I am not full satisfied with the sound, the guitar tone is little bit scooped.
In a few days I might record this soundclip with a real bass guitar and then I will post here something new.
All your feedback all welcome friends.

Not even one comment?:erk: Any suggestions of something that I should change? Here is the deal, you say good shit about mix and tone and and I transfer money to your bank account!lol

The guitars are really boomy on the palm-mutes, put a multiband comp on and that'll help a lot. Otherwise I really like it. Drums aren't really original but I love the reverb on the snare. What did you use?

Yeah you are right I used to much boominess in guitars. I`ll try correct that. Thanks for the advice. The snare sound is a blend of a devildriver snare with DFH snare and some Eq. But all the reverb comes from devildriver snare sample. If you want it, you can download DD snare here --» http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2HB5ET76

yeah it sounds good, i like the guitar tone and the kick and snare, but those cymbals and overheads take away from your mix soo much , they are very weak sounding samples,
everything else sounds really good man , i was impressed !

The rest of drum kit is Drumkit from hell. But overheads sucks that much? So I have to update myself with new overhead sound!lol Thanks for the tip:)
