I actually think they sound nothing like Paramore, that song has the most energy, their other songs are more mellow and more "epic" so to speak, they've only released this song online, so when the rest comes out I'll show you guys

man you made a big great mistake, you were working at 44.1khz and the song is recorded 48khz that's why yours sounds so SLOOOOOOWWW!!!

haha. the snare is a mix between your original one and a SINGLE sample, triggered in drumagog.. I was too lazy to make more than one sample of the snare, so i just stuck with one this time around. You rule!

It sounds quite smooth and bright, despite that was the fast one.
Did anyone else notice that the sm and uni tracks cancel each other out perfectly? Seems like an error since the op said that the leads have been tracked through two different mics.

Yeah, as soon as I realised I deleted all the duplicated tracks to clear up the track window a bit.
Well i know this post is pretty old by now but i just discovered this forum recently. i really liked this song and well i thought id try and mix it. i think it came out pretty well. the bass drum is blended 50/50, the snare is all original and the toms are blended 30 sample/70 original sound.
