New ZELDA!

Hey ya'll,

I just picked up a copy of The Legend of Zelda "The Wind Waker" yesterday but I haven't had a chance to play it yet! :zombie:

God, I wish I could leave work right now to go play it

Oh well, being a grown up sucks, I guess I'll play it later! I'll let ya'll know if it's good, 4 I'm sure it is!

I'm staring at mine, played around in the first city/island for about 15 minutes and had to turn it off because I simply couldn't concentrate on it and a few conversations...I hate people.

But the look and feel of it...it's awesome.

Just picked mine up, the Eastland Mall (ghetto mall - my favorite mall) in Columbogus still had that buy Windwaker get Ocarina deal last Friday, so I pre-ordered it then. Picked it up tonight. I've got some other games to finish before I throw this game in though, because once I put in the disc, it won't be leaving.

OH MY GOD PEOPLE!

"The Legend of Zelda, Wind Waker" is everything that I could have hoped for and more! The graphics are stunning, and the game play is smooth and fluid!

Yes Thraude this is the Zelda for the game cube, and I would highly recommend not missing this game.

I got Zelda today. And I just beat "Metroid Prime". That game was fucking killer. If you have a GameCube, you need "Metroid Prime".

I'll start "Wind Waker" as soon as I'm done here at the board.

Soul Caliber 2 should be out this year. There are secret characters depending on what console you play. Soul Caliber- GameCube has Link as a secret character.

I have many games to finish too:
Metal Of Honor Frontline- Xbox
Mortal Kombat-Deadly Alliance- Xbox
NBA Street-PlayStation 2
And I'm only about 60% done with "GTA: Vice City" (though I finished the missions)
.....but Zelda is now top priority

really!?!?1 well my ps2 is busted, so everything i get is on tthe cube right nwo, very interested in the zelda as a bonus character in soul caiber, man i love that game

and yeah mk5 as in mortal kombat: deadly alliance, shit i LOVE that gae#me, not the moothest beat em up out there, buit fans of MK 1,2,3 or 4 will love it. too badass, must be said tho only the old characters are good, the new ones stink !!!!

Nice! I'm actually in the process of beating Metroid Prime right now!

But I couldn't resist as I've already heading on towards the third dungeon in "Wind Waker" already, I must the say the game could very well be the game of the year!

Well, that doesn't surprise me. Is it broken because of something you, or someone else did (threw it on the concrete)?

Sony Sucks?
Well, everything except their TVs...Sony products are about as reliable as Ford products.

My PlayStation (one) had overheating problems, because it was made by Sony. I called in and they wanted like $70 to fix the thing.
I went to the store, bought a new one, put my broken one in the new box, and got a full refund.

I hear that, I love "The Ocarina of Time"! I played through the game about 100 times on my N64 back in the day and I also spent about thirty or forty hours playing through my copy of it for the cube about a month ago when I first payed for the New one.



The Legend of Zelda "Ocarina of Time" was 1998's game of the year! Expect The Legend of Zelda "Wind Waker" to be 2003's game of the year!

However, that Jedi Outcast game that TD is talking about sound really cool as well. My God, I can't remember having a nintendo with this many good games! When I get my taxes I'm going to pick up Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3 as well!

*I just found the deku leaf and the boomarang! I'm off to fight some more evil!

Yeah, the PlayStation that I "stole" (because I refuse to PAY to have a DEFECT repaired) still works fine! Ragamuffin, you must have a slightly newer PlayStation. The first models had overheating problems (this is a FACT that Sony denies).

But the newer models worked fine. My PlayStation has been knocked on the concrete, and it plays fine.
The model is SCPH 5501. I bet your model number is the same, or maybe SCPH 3501, or something. But the SCPH 1101 (I think) was the overheater. Almost anyone who had that first model had problems.
