newbie, need constructive criticism

hey guys i just signed up for the forum. i just finished a song ive been working on for like a month here and there. all i have is the toneport gx and garageband. just wanted your opinions on how its sounding and how i can get better tone/overall sound. i know its not that great and there is no bass in the song yet but i just made it for fun and would like to be able to create better more professional sounding songs

Pretty decent sound coming from the toneport. I wont expect to much more though from garageband. If you like working with garageband you should try switching over to logic express just to step it up a bit. There are more options and possibilities with Logic.

thanks alot, yea it kinda suck that garageband doesnt offer that much editing wise, ive been working with audacity also just throwing files back and forth between audacity and garageband for basic editin but that kinda blows. ill definately check out logic.

Nice guitar tone.
Drums are too loud (especially kick) and therefore they're unbalanced with guitars, wich are just masked under.
