I received a message from Comus about their melloboat DvD :
"our DVD is having the last finishing touches done in the next week. It has been a long time coming, and we apologise, but it will definately be ready for June 12th if not before!"

Excellent. I am actually just getting in to Comus myself, just got First Utterance last week.

They are unbelievable! The CD has not once left my stereo since I got it.

Uh yeah, the Comus album was recorded in 1971 so you do the math. Besides, it's not really a rip so much as an homage as Mike has acknowledged that this is where the name came from anyway. He also got the title "The Baying of the Hounds" from a lyric on the first track of the Comus album.

I think their first album is quite amazing. They recorded a second one way back in the day but I gotta say it pales in comparison to their first. I'm rather skeptical that after almost 4 decades that they can rekindle the magic...
