...saw this on the Prophecy Facebook page

"Oh. My. God. I'm sure, some of you would sell your mother for the e-mail I just received from Mr. Schwadorf."

...the officials refuse to comment on it more so far but they give hints that everyone could guess what that could mean...

my vague guess...15 years of Prophecy (next year) could mean a new album...

maybe Schwadorf just realized that The Vision Bleak was little more than recreative bullshit and felt the need to do some music again.

i am sure he was having fun, but agreed. They have some real competition now, with that neun welten band releasing awesome stuff recently :loco: ;)

From Prophecy:

We are incredibly happy to announce that Empyrium, the most renowned Prophecy act ever, has decided to reunite and to record new music! Here's the official statement of Schwadorf on the reunion: "Since the rumours start to spread we think it's about time to make this official: Empyrium is alive again! Our first new sign of life will be the song 'The Days Before The Fall' on the Prophecy Prod. compilation 'Whom The Moon A Nightsong Sings' but we have plans for more! The spirit is back and it really feels right to us to start writing songs with Empyrium again. We are not in a rush though so don't expect a full lenght today or tomorrow but we have the patience and faith to make this new songs outstanding and unique. Just as Empyrium ever was...."

he very first Empyrium concert captured in sound and vision

June 11th, 2011, was a landmark date in Empyrium's history. After more than 15 years, Schwadorf and Helm played their very first show ever on that day, taking place at the Wave Gotik Treffen in the Pantheon of Volkspalast Leipzig. For this memorable event, the two core members put together an illustrious concert line-up, consisting of Konstanz (The Vision Bleak), Neige (Alcest), Eviga (Dornenreich), Fursy Teyssier (Les Discrets), Aline Deinert (Neun Welten) and Christoph Kutzer (Remember Twilight), who had rehearsed pieces from every creative phase of Empyrium as well as the new, so-far unreleased song "Dead Winter Ways".

The show, which lasted about 70 minutes, was captured in sound and vision to be released now as an audio-CD and BluRay/DVD. This magical world premiere, recorded in high-resolution HD video and stereo, respectively 5.1 surround sound, constitutes the heart of "Into The Pantheon". In addition to the concert, a documentary of more than 100 minutes provides a detailed and exhaustive account on the band's past by means of interviews with Schwadorf, Helm and the live musicians. Therefore, "Into The Pantheon" is not only a must for fans, but also serves as an ideal introduction for everybody who wants to get a comprehensive overview of Empyrium.

You people still need to listen to Noekk. Yes, you people.

It's no Empyrium, because there is only one Empyrium.

But it's still quite good. Anyhow, I will purchase this DVD!

Did anybody pay attention to this? I guess they released an EP late last year.

Most live albums suck, but some are good. Decade of Aggression still rules. And did you ever watch the ULVER live DVD? Holy living fuck, it even makes the Blood Inside stuff sound unruly.
