"NOKTURNAL MORTUM after many years of delays and promisses is finally putting the finishing touches to their long awaited brand new material. At the moment they are finishing the vocal parts in some songs and getting the whole thing to be prepared for the mix. This material would go to 4 separate releases: the fullength album called "Weltanschauung", split-CD with Russian NSBM horde WOODS OF FALLEN and another split-CD with the leading Ukrainean skinhead R.A.C. band called SOKYRA PERUNA. The forth release would be the compilation, dedicated to the 10th univesary of band's activity (incl. proto-NOKTURNAL MORTUM bands such as SUPPORATION and CRYSTALLINE DARKNESS). This CD would include a lot of rare and unreleased tracks (incl. some from the legendary "Twilight Fall" demo) and other surprizes for all the appreaciators of the leading Ukrainean BM horde's ideas and music. NOKTURNAL MORTUM is going to record 2 versions of the album. The local one for Russia, Ukraine and Belarus' will have the lyrics sung on Russian and Ukrainean languages, while the 2nd version (worldwide one) will have everything in English. Although nothing is know for sure, some release plans are already developed. Worldwide version will be most likely released on Resustance Records / Unholy Records, while the local one will be pressed by the band itself. We are not going to reveal all the secrets concerning the forthcoming NOKTURNAL MORTUM's material, but we do promise that the worshippers of NOKTURNAL MORTUM would be rewarded for their longest wait with a new level of Spirit, the new level of Art and Creativity, the new level of musicianship and sound. Guitar riffings getting more folkish, rawer, yet more powerful, keys are oftenly subsituted by the multitude of live ancient Slawonic folk instruments and the whole atmosphere of the songs is somehow deeper towards the Cosmical depths of the Aryan Weltanschauung. Two famous old songs namely "Kolyada" and "Unholy Orathania" are rerecorded with the newer sound and the newer demension. Besides that and, of course, the new brand material, one would be able to hear NOKTURNAL MORTUM playing SKREWDRIVER covers (monumental "Snowfell" and heavier panzer-version of "White Power"), also ABSURD's "Mourning Soul" and "Eternal Winter" both transformed in NOKTURNAL MORTUM's perspective... Wait for it and beware of this stuff, it may literally blow your head off... And yes, the last detail. All the recent rumours about Varggoth's "assasination" and band's split are plain bullshit.
