"Goodbye Lenin" (or whatever it's called in english). But it's not in the cinema anymore. But renting the film and watching it in my house is an option.

hey Undo it seems your watching all german movies you can find, first"was tun wenns brennt?" and now goodby lenin.wow-Im really impressed. (by the way I hope you never find out about the shitty german movies like "harte jungs", "der schuh des manitou" etc)But check out "das experiment" thats a good one
you had german at school?

sole:

mardy's right about it having more to do with soviet Germany than with the fact that it's german. But so far the german films i've seen are very high on my list. :) I've seen "Das experiment" twice, and i'd gladly watch it again any time. Thanx for the advice on "Harte jungs" and "Der schuh des manitou", though. :)

Regrettably, i never took german at school (they never gave german classes). But my girlfriend, who speaks german and has the most beautiful german accent i've ever heard, offered to teach me. :)
