Nightfall

"I am Jesus" is a great album, but I'm wary of exploring the rest of their work. For some reason I have this strange notion that it will be radically different. Has anyone else heard some of their other albums and can give me some insight? Not sure many here would like them.

What Erik said stands for their early period. They started to change their sound in "Athenian Echoes" becoming softer and softer, and with "Lesbian Show" they tried to play something like heavy/"death" metal .. totally crappy. Then they released "Diva" which is my favourite Nightfall release (wait, its the only one i enjoy) were they play a unique blend of modern heavy/atmospheric and a little bit "oriental" metal.
Overall nothing special about em.

It seems to be a case by case deal with these guys then. I may look into "Diva Futura" which shouldn't be radically different from "I am Jesus" and possibly their early period. The middle stuff doesn't sound interesting. Thanks for the input.
