NIGHTMARE METAL FEST II

VR = overrated and generic with members all past their prime still trying to act like its the 80s. Pass. Big loss for the festival.

ASKA came to Yokota AB in Japan a few times when I was stationed there. They were a fun live band. They tend to wear their influences on their sleeve, but those influences are Maiden, AC/DC, Dio and the like, so I guess that's not too bad of a thing. This is looking like a good time. Wish I could be there, but I can only afford 1 festival this year.

Yeah, the first time I saw them was in SUWON KOREA, at the all graders club in 2002, I was there with the company I retired from, and they were doing the show in the same room we were giving classes, but luckily our classes ended at 5:00pm, so we got a chance to hang out with them, have a few beers and just chat, they are really nice guys and WHAT A SHOW!!!!, There were like 200 t0 250 people there and they were really inot ASKA. I can't wait to see them again.
