I know they are supposed to be on hiatus for the next year, and I know for that reason Glenn, in an interview at Appropriate Apocalypse(I think), said that for that reason he couldnt go after them for 4.0. However, they've reportedly been confirmed for a festival in August 2003.

Seems to me they are fair game for 4.0 now. *Crosses fingers*

Ner ner ne ner ner :p

us Brits gets to see them @ Bloodstock (and potentially the night before too, in London).

Playing afestival @ the end of August is still a couple of months off from ProgPower IV. Even if Glenn brings the date forward a month or so (as he has suggested), I'd guess that it may still be too late, as I'm sure the band would prefer to play a series of gigs close together. I'm just guessing, but you never know, Glenn may have a trick up his sleve yet :)

Nightwish will have two last shows for their "Century Child" -World Tour in Germany: 11.01.2003 in Oberhausen (König-Pilsener-Arena) and 12.01.2003 in Munich (Colosseum). After these shows the next possible shows will be festival shows in summer / autumn 2003.

I have posted this several times. but this now seems like the most fitting place to do so. I see no reason that they couldn't play PPIV. As long as we can talk them into comeing all the way over here.

What irritates me is this: How is Tarja gonna decide that she wants to run away and spend the rest of her career in central Pennsylvania married to me if she won't even come over and meet me. Now, I'm all for prearranged stuff but it's gonna be different for her here in PA than it would be in Finland.

Joking aside, I'd love to see Nightwish and I'm thinking that it would be a good time for them to play here. Maybe if some buddies (Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, etc) are here, they'll come over too?
