it's awesome.

although i think that they sound a bit immature and stuff.
they still are a great band!!!

yeah, i think that nigtwish is the greatest band of those what i have heard
i've been a 'fan' since...hmm..-97? if i remember it right.. and i've grown up with the band and it's getting better every moment..
they should keep up the good work.. i like what marco's voice has done to the music in their latest album.

I like the older Nightwish, tough the new material i find pretty simple.
Wishmaster is the best album, if i had to choose.

Everyone say that they are sooo great, and all that, but as a matter of fact they havent developed as a band at all in the last years, and they sound just the same now as they did when they started out.
Same riffs, same horrible keyboard shit!

To be honest...I didn't care for Nightwish the first time that I heard them...the operatic vocals threw me. I guess it's an acquired taste . I have grown to love the band's music a lot though. I have most of their albums .

I used to like it, but I grew tired of them after a year or two. The only interesting thing is Tarja her voice, and you grow weary of that....

Errr, are you sure? If you listen closely to their records,
you´ll find out that "Century child" is completely different
from "Angels Fall First".

I really love "Century child"! The experiment with the
darker athmosphere, Tarja´s less operatic and more
mature vocals and Marco´s backup vocals was direct hit
into the bull´s eye.

I do like Nightwish, rather a lot too!

Admittedly, Century Child was poor (I prefer Oceanborn and Wishmaster), but they are a great band. Personally, I find them to be a unique listening experience, perhaps as far as metal goes, the actual music isn't awfully original. Personally I see them as more of a metal version of an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. They made themselves open to comparison after covering Phantom of the Opera, and I do genuinly think that what they do best is sort of 'west end-metal'. If that makes sense.

Anyway, regardless of the music. Traja would be welcome in my pants anytime.

"Wayfarer" is on the japanese version of Century Child.
You may also pick up the "Ever dream" single.

Good news for all NW-Fans!

1) NW was nominated for the finnish EMMA awards in the
following categories:

- best band
- best finnish artists
- best hard rock/metal album

2) There will be a new DVD released in may.

3) NW will enter a studio in november. The new album
will be released in spring 2004.

Rock Hard mag.

• NW finished third in the "favourite band" poll
• Tarja is the fourth most popular musician
• And besides, she finished tenth in the "personality" poll
• Last but not least NW are fifth in the "best liveband" poll

I've just got my tickets for their two British shows in August.

Seeing Nightwish twice in as many nights is going to be awesome, and in a venue the size of the Mean Fiddler they should be fantastic!
