Fact of the matter is, metallica may have talent, but it in NO FUCKING WAY equates to whats out there today. Rebirth is correct, they hold no relevancy right now(to the metal underworld) and mentioning them on the Nevermore message board is pointless.POINTLESS.
Personally I'd rather hear about Jim's pubes or Vans toenails.

i am with 496 and pink Maggit on the topic of Metallica... yea yea yea we all know that load and re-load blew chunks....but i really think that Metallica took the time to look and see what they did wrong on those 2 albums and what they did right on And Justice For All... i am really interested in what Metallica is going to dish-out for the next album... which btw St. Anger is being completed today...but anyway, im not saying that this album is going to be the greatest thing ever recorded by metallica but then again i aint saying that is going to be the worst they have done either, but either way i think that the label of "Corporate Metal" that has been slapped on them over the years will be shattered.... but for everyone that says this album will be as bad as they think... just wait and see, we will all find out at the same time what Metallica really is capable...so until then, stop bashing one of the innovating bands of metal, and just anticipate them puttin out a new album with a new sound, no matter what it may be lile...
