MissK is much better vocalist that Kotipelto ever was, although he is still the greatest male singer for me.
He is just so difficult person to work with, and he has fooled you all with his angelic attitude. He is a very good actor!

I must agree that Stratovarius are quite a mediocre band. They have some awesome songs but they have more sucky ones and Tolkki recycles all of his riffs.

Tollki has no right to be so braggish as if he were some kind of musical genius. Strato has some really great songs, but in terms of originality they are extrodinarily predictable, recycling the same old chord progressions with cliche' vocal melodies that have been around since the classical period. Tolkki reminds me of that typical Berklee student with his foundations of music theory course requirements fufilled making him think he is a brilliant musician. Come on, even if you love strato, you have to admit that their music is kinda cliche and a little too fine polished to have a genuine emotional appeal. An awefully swelled head for a mediocre musician and instrumentalist.

I think that strato had some great shit, and i agree that they are the best at recycling their own stuff. And so what if T.K.'s solo album was a visions rip off (which i disagree with, but for the sake of arguement...) it still kicked ass. Personally, i think Koti is one of the best vocalists when he is able to stay in his range (which magically happens most of his solo stuff, but not much in recent strato stuff). Anyway, i have to say i will listen before i really pass too much judgement, but i will say that i think it's the stratigec "arch enemy" move... bringing in a chick. Too bad angela is actually attractive. And can sing what she needs to... based on looks alone, i am turned off of strato.
The good things i have to say is that i am also excited to see the johanssen bro's back together, and that should kick ass, and i am a little eager to hear kotipelto's solo stuff as i am sure it will be badass.

I'm gonna wait until there's some music to hear before deciding if this is a good or bad move..people have bitched about the last couple of cds anyway, maybe a change will be a good thing. Timo has a point as far as it not being the fans' choice to decide what they do (bottom line is, how can you be true to yourself & the music within if your main concern is making everyone else happy?), but I don't guess he had to be so rude about it (calling the fans names can't be a good thing..). He may just be frustrated at this point, tho; the guy is human after all.

Anyway, just like we'd want respect shown to MJR over on their forum, let's make sure to do the same for Timo here, please.
