man i was so busy as a stupid... hahaha i mean STUDENT.

worked nearly fulltime + school fulltime + party fulltime. sometimes it got so hectic that i'd just stop going to class!

even if I worked graveyard shift I couldn't work fulltime while at school.

one semester I took six classes + a chem lab, and I was such a moron I scheduled them all on tuesdays and thursdays so I could have four day weekends. It was grueling but somehow I always managed to find a party

I think that dumb idea was only surpassed by whatever stupid notion made me take a semester of Ancient Greek.

@icono, you're in one o' dem accelerated programs though, yeah? i suppose that would be tough.

after the first year i only went to school two days a week, from like 10am to 6pm tuesdays and thursdays. the other 5 days a week were spent working, until i got the job i have now. oh man, working monday, wednesday, friday from 8 to 5pm and then class from 10 to 6 tuesday and thursday meant PARTY TIME. i was told that my whole demeanour completely changed once i started getting weekends off.

and yes, for about 6 months every friday night i'd raise my 2498th glass of the evening and yell "week-ends OFFFF!!!!!!!"

it's technically not an accelerated program. But i talked to a kid who is taking ALL of the same courses at a university. We did data comm (same textbook even) in 5 weeks. They did it in 6 months. When you're memorizing standards and all sorts of bullshit, it's a lot easier when you have more than 2 nights to read and digest it all. Hence I spend a lot of time reading.
