No WMD found...

No one denies Saddam had WMDs. The US sold them to him so he could use them against Iran. But the reason America invaded was because Saddam was supposed to still have them after being ordered to destroy them. And he didn't. Therefore, the entire invasion and occupation was and continues to be illegal, just like Reagan's invasion of Nicaragua in the 80s.
 
The US government never said anything about freeing the Iraqi people, they only invaded to get rid of Saddam because they wanted to have a better foothold in the Middle East. Of course,the "official" reason was because Saddam had WMDs, while the revisionist reason was to free the Iraqi people... which the US never spoke about until it turned out there were no weapons, because the typical American didn't care about freeing foreigners from years of tyranny, but were very trigger happy after 9/11 and wanted to take it out on someone.

You were being sarcastic? But you weren't being sarcastic every other time I've spoken to you about this over the last two years. You can't just change your stance without telling me beforehand!! We have to discuss these things first! :(

Brian, they cant invade everywhere at once you know... Just give them until January 30th, when the election is held, then they can bomb the fuck out of about 40 countries on their way back home from the Gulf :)
 
You do know, of course, that the US will bomb Iraq in about ten years when the president stops doing things the way America wants him to do things.
 
I'm honestly surprised that they didn't plant some.

(BTW, the right wing yanks are still calling those balloon filling rigs "mobile chemical weapons factories", in spite of the U.K. confirming what they were, because they sold them to Iraq).

They've certainly liberated a few Iraqi's (from their mortal coil), haven't they.

Wait until the war is over(ish), and the families of deceased soldiers start to compare figures.
