noise in cubase!!

What the fuck!

Some days ago i discoverd noise in Cubase 5.

I got myself a new Desk and set everything up properly and now when i just open Cubase i can hear a very small amount of noise going throug my monitors.

Even when i just create a new projekt with no plugins inserted i can hear some noise going on. it´s almost not noticable but when you crank everything up and there´s nothing playing i can hear it.

10 seconds after closing cubase all the noise is gone.

any suggestions. it´s not that bad i was just wondering what is going on?


I use a Windows 7 Pc and the Presonus Firestudio Projekt

I actually used a Firepod with cubase today at my work, not my normal setup! But i had the same issue and i just created a new input buss (8 channel in my case)
