Kings of Leon died for me with their 'new' album. You can easily realise that they just didnt made enough money with their previous style :lol:
I almost jumped outta the subway when 3 drunk 18 year old girls started screaming ''youuaaa sääääxxx is ooonnn ffffeeeiiiiierrr!yyyyyäääähhhh''.horrible. but the little girls love it.

Kings of Leon are shit now, 'Aha Shake Heartbreak' was awesome but they're just gay nowadays.

Whereas...

is badass.

Nerve, I'm lovvvviiinnng Alcest right now.

I don't even get what "shoegaze" is supposed to be. Is that like, the term they use when alt. rock tried to do BM? Either way I like it.
Other than Amesoeurs, whats another good standout band. Preferably sticking to a slower, ambient sound....

Mods rename this to "The Nerve thread f. Vikk"

Alcest was a BM band at its beginning, I didn't liked them, and I still don't. I basically dislike any of Neige's (which means "snow", what a fucking gay scene name) bands, especially Amesoeurs. You can listen to their album only once and be sick of it for life.

"Shoegaze" is somehow hard to categorize, since the early shoegaze bands tried to create something original and creative (ie : My Bloody Valentine). Now every rock bands which adds keyboards or flanger pedals to the guitars play shoegaze. If you want some good albums, well you cannot dismiss My Bloody Valentine's Loveless, the new Engineers album (Three Fact Fader), early Cocteau Twins, The December Sound, maybe M83 (I don't like them, but still), and of course Nowhere by Ride.

Lies, all an act to downplay the french-hipsterdom in front of the BM kid.
:p

F. = Featuring, noob.

Videogame-ish techno:

Eargasmic track. The speaker (left to right) alternation blows my mind every time

a rainbow road (Mario Kart 64) remix

a sort of trance track called HyperioxX
