North American tour topic!

They love it here in Canada :headbang: Roope even said they look forward to Canadian dates more then american dates... he especially hates playing at Harpo's...
 
Damn. that's sad to hear that they don't like playing the states. We give them as much support as any other country...well maybe we're not like South America crazy...cause they are wild and rock! but c'mon. we are pretty much up there. But anywho, if they don't like playing here...then why come back so often? I know you all won't have the answer to that...but it's just a question.
 
Yeah they were all sick the night before. Oh well maybe next time I see them I'll get a chance to talk to them again.
 
this is true. but damn it's still sad to hear. oh well...fuck it. i am still going to enjoy their music and still support them. even though they don't support their fans here in the states. money is the root of all evil... LOL!

lol where did you hear that from? I find it hard to believe that bodom doesn't like to play in America. As long as the place is filled with fans who love your music, why the fuck would it matter what country your in?
Oh and the first US date this tour in Detroit Alexi said we kicked Canadas ass! :loco:

You know...I really don't know if it's true or not that COB doesn't like to play in the states...but to be honest with you...that doesn't change the way I feel about them for shit....Children of Bodom is a fucking awesome band...their music is fucking awesome and when it really comes down to it, that's what matters the most...So I'm still gonna check them out Dec. 2 and I'm still gonna give them all the fucking support and respect they deserve.
 
Initially when I read the comment that they don't care for the states then I asked "why?" even with the proposed answers it still doesn't change how I feel about their music. I am not going to burn my shirts or destroy my cds. i am still going to support them and will always will.

I never said they didnt enjoy playing America. They just enjoy Canada better :loco: We have crazier crowds, a stable government, and we arent ashamed of our leader. But were known mainly for our crowds.. Compare a Canadian bootleg to any American bootleg.. the crowd is 10x more insane...

and by the way, Alexi always tells the crowd they are better then the previous nights audience. ALWAYS..

and Roope himself said that Harpo's is the shittiest stop on every North American tour. They always dread playing there for somereason.. Dont think he likes the "area"..

But I agree, if my band were to tour around the world.. I woudnt really care where the hell I was, Id still enjoy playing aslong as it would be infront of a huge crowd of fans.. If there was an Iraq date, and we actually had fans in Iraq... who gives a fuck man, I'd have fun!... I just might be decked from head to two in bullet proof protection.
