Nose bleeds

When i was a kid i used to have quite alot of nose bleeds, but i used to love pulling the clots out once the blood had congealed it made me eyes role right back, anyway now me son is having the same problem and last night he had a huge clot in his nose the size of a slug

Has anyone here ever had them bad like?

i get them all the time, i had it cauterised when i was a kid but it didnt work.
where i used to work i used to spit the clots into clear plastic bags to create an impromptu lava lamp.

It worked for me. Never happened again.
Now my nose only bleeds when punched

I used to get nosebleeds a lot, but not the clot things. One time I got a nosebleed in high school when I was playing clarinet in the school musical. The blood came out faster every time I played a long note.
