I am a big Randy Rhoads freak and a friend in England and myself started this RR CD project and now it is an annual thing for us. Well I know this isnt a metal song per se, this is the only forum I ever find great info on tracking heavy music. Any feedback would be appreciated for sure.
I finished all the edits I had left, tried to expand how the lead track sits in the stereo field and finalized the mix. I used Addictive Drums and for the bass it was Studio Devil Virtual bass amp. The Zoom G2.1u using the Boogie MKIV model for the lead tone which I sent through VaccuumSound's ADT plug in. I did this entire song with Reaper 3 and it was a very enjoyable experience using Reaper and the nice sounding final cut I made with it. This is my song contribution for this years Randy Rhoads CD Project.
