Think you can outsmart fellow ND fans?
Think you know more than others about ND?

Let's see what ya got!

Try to answer WITHOUT cheating!!!!!

I will start............

WHAT WAS THE ORIGINAL WORKING TITLE OF THE PALE HAUNT DEPARTURE CD?

Actually at one point it was just going to be called "Ascension". I think that's what we printed on the back of "Reflecting In Grey Dusk".

Here I'll think of a few questions for you guys, for the hell of it. And Jasonic, try not to quickly answer them all, give someone else a chance LOL I know you probably know all of these, they're not too hard anyhow.

1.) We once had a "special guest" co-songwriter on a particularly slow and doomy tune, appropriately since he's from one the most legendary doom bands of all time. Name the song, the cd it appeared on, and the person who I'm referring to.

2.) What one song has consistently appeared on EVERY setlist for every live show we've done since 2005? (NOT counting acoustic shows)

3.) What Novembers Doom song was used for the ending credits of the straight-to-video classic (ahem) "Zombiegeddon"?

4.) When I (Larry) joined ND, they'd just completed a new cd and were awaiting it's release.....what cd was it? BONUS POINTS- Who was playing drums for ND at the time I joined? (This is a toughie, as it's not who you might think......we only performed a handful of shows with myself and this drummer in the lineup before he departed)

5.) How many official ND cds feature the exact same lineup consecutively?

1) Thomas on when Desperation Fills the Void on the album Into Nights Requiem Infernal?

2) My guess would be The Pale Haunt Departure

5) 2?

1) Within My Flesh - Ron Holzner, off of To Welcome the Fade

2) Pale Haunt

3) I seriously do not know!!!!! :(

4) Sasha?

5) None

See, I let TWO others reply before me!! :)

1?

2, my guess is not the strong
3,?

4, you joined just before the release of "of sculpted flowers and stone ivy" sasha was druming at the time.

NOVEMBERS DOOM were once slated to perform at PROG POWER EUROPE, in the Netherlands......

1) What year were they scheduled to appear?
2) What band replaced them?
3) Name some of the bands who performed that year (It was a good one!)

WHO IS THE BEST LOOKING NOVEMBERS DOOM FAN, per BELOW???

You get three guesses, and two don't count!!!

i still haven't seen Zombiegeddon. maybe that'd be a good* Halloween flick. good questions, Lar. maybe you guys should come up with more, make it a sticky.

* "good" as in "a timely, appropriate choice", not "a high quality film"

IN THE SUMMER OF 2005, NOVEMBERS DOOM MADE AVAILABLE FOR SALE AT A LOCAL SHOW A T SHIRT WHICH HAD A VERY THICK SCREEN PRINT. THIS SHIRT WAS LATER KNOWN TO FANS AS "THE PLASTIC SHIRT".

1) What venue was this shirt sold at?
2) What other bands were on the bill that night?
3) How much was the shirt sold (Hint, there were TWO options for purchasing the shirt, a) Shirt only or b) shirt with CD)
4) What was the artwork on this shirt?

OK, the correct answers are-

1.) "Within My Flesh", from To Welcome The Fade, co-written with Ron Holzner of TROUBLE fame. (He'll be sharing the stage with us in November performing with his new band EARTHEN GRAVE, please check 'em out!)

2.) "The Pale Haunt Departure" is the only song to have been included in every live set list (sans Acoustic shows) since 2005.

3.) "Broken"

4.) I joined just as the band finished recording and mixing "Of Sculptured Ivy...". BONUS POINTS- I knew you guys would think it was Sasha on drums when I joined but not true. The giveaway was that he never performed live with us until his joining us recently. Sasha played drums in the studio of OSIASF, but the band was then quickly joined by drummer Emmet Hall, who'd previously played with ND and appears on the tracks "Seasons Of Frost" and "Nothing Earthly Save The Thrill" on the re-release of Amid It's Hallowed Mirth. The lineup of Paul, Eric, Mary, Cathy Jo, Emmet, and myself lasted from February 1999 through June 1999, and we did perform around four or five shows before Emmet was replaced with Joe Nunez in late July 1999.

5.) Zero. No two official ND cds have featured the same lineup of musicians. Kinda crazy, isn't it?

I'll think up some more questions later if I can.
