Thanks, but the pit, if there is one, is going to be a war zone. They're already capped at photogs for the show. They're checking to see if they can squeeze in one more ... don't have high hopes, but don't really care too much either way.

No bad words about Olaf or Ripper for that matter. But the idea was so bad, but so bad that we chose to cut you some slack and only give you shit for one of them...
Here are a few somewhat better quality vids. As expected, the mighty Floor sounds great. The band actually looks different too, and maybe more metal, with such a large frontwoman.

Can I just say that I really appreciate the fact that - so far at least - neither party is doing any mudslinging or the kind of petty back and forth in the press that unfolded after Tarja's split. I ended up thinking a lot less of both parties at the time, and am glad that's not the case this time around.

And really, I don't care that much, because I get to see Kamelot, Nightwish, and Floor tonight!
As expected, Floor was fantastic. Great voice and great stage presence. It was like she's been touring with them for years. Last night was the fourth time I've seen Nightwish and easily their best performance.
Kamelot was in top form too.
I saw one other ProgPower t-shirt in the crowd, first time I've seen one in Portland. If you're on here, sorry I didn't have a chance to say much other than "nice shirt".

I would be. If by some chance, Hell Freezes Over and The Eagles disband, and this event actually occurs (odds are infinitesimally small I would imagine consider Arch/Matheos is an actual recognized band now) the earth certainly would be shaken from its orbit and the blood-soaked ears of the metal masses would scream in (insert random adjective here, depending on your opinion of Arch: __________). ;-)

It's going to be even more interesting to hear how she fits into the Nightwish sound. I'm on the fence about what I've heard so far. I don't think it will be Tarja-era II or Anette-era II, but the verdict is out for me until I hear some new material with Floor on vocals and (perhaps) involved in the writing process...

Ok, can't hold bACK on this... Annette was a fucking joke! To even begin to compare her to Floor Jansen is fucking insane! That reedy whiny voice destroyed Nightwish. Now they have a chance to regain some fans...Hell, I flew all the way down to Atlanta to see thursdays show and walked out after 4 Nightwish songs...Annette hurt me that much! I'm sure she has a lovely voice that will fit in somewhere, just not Nightwish. Floor Jansen...she destroys everything in her mighty path!
