now playing pt....?

they are a bit fancypants and all that, 'turn this song into a prayer' adding lyrics in songs live and all that kinda attitude's a bit uncalled for, but i do like their music

depends on song choice/set length/venue/ i heard. For example doing "bullet the blue sky" in front of a 100 chinese language students is meant to be a nice little earner. a punk band called FOAD2U2 once covered 40 U2 songs in 20 minutes taking the piss outta every song and made 2 grand outta them so the covers have to be faithful to the originals now

In 1987 the Press was full of praise for the band as they started their backlash against U2 with their FOAD2U2 campaign (F.O.A.D.=F**k off and die!!)which spread like wildfire on walls, buses and leather jackets. The "I Will Wallow" single sold by the bucket load and received widespread acclaim on both sides of the Irish Sea. Most notable was a terrific parody of U2's Boy album cover featuring a gap toothed child with one finger in the air.
