@COB666: i noticed you were listening to arch enemy's new album in your first post in this page... what do you think of it?
i still listen to it quite a lot but still haven't really made my mind... it has some kick ass songs but there's a nu atmosphere in some songs that really gets on my nerves...
i suppose it's still good though

best songs imo: Silent wars and Dead eyes see no future
and End of the line has some really interesting parts, though the nuishness doesn't let me quite enjoy them :-/
 
i dont see the atmosphere of the album as "NU" per se, but its that they stripped down their writing style with less melodies in the song. granted thats one thing i always loved about AE's music, but i think they are more or less experimenting w/ something slightly different. i hope it doesnt stay that way for the next album, but overall i really like AOR. it just to me seems a little more straight ahead balls to the wall rockin it out. anybody notice that yngwie lick they "borrowed" in saints and sinners?
