Now reading thread

we had to study Jane austen in school cos the girls in our class did'nt want to do shakespeare(!!) . All i can say is she should have beat to death with balls of her own shite for writing "emma".
 
I know it's not *man* to read jane austen

But I'm not smart enough to read that intelligent stuff you guys read :(

@eos : did you read anything else by J. austen?
 
Recently read The Masks of God: Primitive Mythology by Joseph Cambell, t'was real nice, though a little old-fashioned by the present standards if I may say so.

I tried also to read this collction of stories by a geezer called Ambrose Beers (this may well b not the corrct spelling of his name, I'm sorry anyhow), but I'm afraid I still haven't got much further than the cover, which is so good (and dark) that requires many hours of looking at.

I'm planning to start reading L Matin des Magiciens. Maybe this next weekend. Then I'll have to concentrate on my studies on Jane Ellen Harrison
